THE MISSING FLEXIBILITY
The business of transportation by water daily collides with the lack of flexibility that is, such a long time, a winner used way in the automotive and rail fields.
The traditional vessels have a well-defined carrying capacity. In addition, the fuel consumption has set by the mission and it is not dependent in any way on the number of passengers or, alternatively, by the volume of the goods.
Too often the demand is not commensurate with the offer. In other words, many missions see the engaged vessels almost empty or overly crowded, in some cases even beyond the limits of normal prescribed safety.
This feature determines huge economic losses, waste of management and dangerous boating conditions.
The extreme simplicity of the structural mechanisms and the speed of maneuver execution restraining between the component units, make HANNAH an innovative and revolutionary boat in its field.
A WINNING BUSINESS
ALL THE BENEFITS OF THE MODULAR SOLUTION
DOCK SPACE OPTIMIZATION
Larger is the boat greater is the necessary mooring space. At last HANNAH has solved the problem. In few minutes it is possible to halve the overall volume of the vehicle and consequently to commit adequate space for the two units, with favourable geometries and reduced costs.
STAFF COST REDUCTION
In assembled configuration HANNAH can be steered by a single operator thanks to its moderate gross tonnage, to an appropriate video control system of the boat and finally thanks to a careful design of the driving position . The commander has been given the choice of the helm between the two available.
STORAGE COSTS REDUCTION
Another important advantage concerns the garaging for extraordinary maintenance operations: the operations carried out in two stages, separately for the two individual units, allows to decrease the costs of lifting and positioning in the shipyard (to move an halved load implies a reduced use both of the lifting means and the space in the shipyard)
INCREASE AND/OR REDUCTION OF LOAD(ING) CAPACITY
HANNAH ensures high use flexibility , unimaginable with traditional boats. The load capacity can halved in low traffic conditions, reducing fuel consumption, the wear of the sheltered board and consequently service costs.
INCREASING AND CHANGING THE MISSION PROFILE
The modular solution offers the possibility to increase the number of daily trips along a particular route. Sometimes You may need to conceive missions with close arrival and departure times. At the same time it is possible to change the mission path (journey) addressing the two component units to different routes.
FINAL ELIMINATION OF THE BOAT DOWNTIME
Another important advantage ,only possible thanks to the modular solution, is represented by the opportunity to never interrupt the activity for boat downtime ,due to the necessary annual maintenance. In fact these operations can be carried out on the two components in different steps (stages)
MAINTENANCE COST DILUTION
HANNAH optimizes while it dilutes the boat costs of maintenance during the activity. The owner is given the opportunity to decide on which single unit to intervene each time.
