In particular, in the separately configuration each single unit is governed by an azimuth thruster installed at the bow and a rudder blade installed at the stern.

The commander can decide to govern the single unit in a "traditional configuration guide" maintaining fixed the propeller thrust and turning the rudder to change direction, or govern the single unit into an “increased manoeuvrability guide” configuration using in synergy both the rotation of the propeller that of the rudder.

The commander can also decide, in the assembled configuration, from which units to manage the boat.
